We recently stayed at Mountain Hostel Tarter with our family and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect for exploring the two spectacular Andorran valleys, the Vall d'Incles and the Vall de Ransol. We enjoyed hiking trails, walking to mountain lakes, and even climbing some of the majestic peaks of Andorra. The easy Incles Valley walk was a highlight, as we learned about the flora, fauna, and the typical mountain constructions in the area. The trail had explanatory signs that made it educational and fun for our children. The scenery in these valleys is simply breathtaking, and it was a pleasure to leisurely stroll and take in the natural beauty.
For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities organized at the hostel. My children wanted to have more things to do in the evenings, such as movie nights or organized games.

I recently stayed at Mountain Hostel Tarter for a week-long snowboarding trip. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hostel has a spacious kitchen with all the necessary amenities for cooking. As a tall person, I found the beds to be very comfortable. The common area was large and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Additionally, the ski lifts were conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk. I had a wonderful experience at Mountain Hostel Tarter.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for activities in the area. the hostel's location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails and skiing slopes. Plus, the well-managed kitchen made it a breeze to cook meals. I had an amazing experience during my New Year's stay at this hotel.
The pool hours were a bit limited, and the automatic lighting in the rooms made it difficult to leave without disturbing my roommates. these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience I had at this hotel.

Personally, I found the shared bathroom to be a bit of a downside. But hey, some people might not mind it at all!
